Glenn Close is one of my favourite actresses so I was very pleased to read in the New York Times that she has just signed up to do a new television series.
OK we probably wont get it here in Australia for a few years but it is something to look forward to.
Best of all, Close has been signed up for a six year season.
Given she is aged 60, that is good news for we older women who want to keep on working — and see others doing the same. Australia’s television industry could follow suit instead of populating every television show with flawless young things who dont look as if they have experienced much of life. Read the article here
