ALP Shadow Minister Tanya Plibersek has delivered a speech outlining Labor’s approach to dealing with violence against women.
Her speech also includes some comments on the controversial Safety at Home program which has been adopted in Tasmania and which is being trialled in Sydney and elsewhere, whereby perpetrators are removed from the home and women and children allowed to remain.
