Last year we toured the Baltic countries , our guide was latvian and we learnt of the dreadful history in WW2 and your story reinforced what we found . The seller also listed your book 'The Lost Mother' and it seemed intriguing. Having lost my own mother last year, your book highlighted the strong connections and bonds (and sometimes disconnections) between other women in our lives and perhaps the human need to know more about the who, where and why.
