The great child care betrayal

Federal Labor promised to end the “double drop off” with 260 new childcare centres located in school grounds.  Last month they abandoned that promise – and raised the cost of child care, even though Treasury has proved to them that affordable quality child care is an essential pre-requisite to women being able to return to paid work after they have had babies.  Read my article here
