Its all very well to drool over someone else’s life when you don’t know them, have never met anyone they know and are never likely to. I was not sure about reading the cousin&#8217;s story, but then of course people started to ask me what I thought of the book and suddenly I was cornered . I have to read it incase I need to defend the family honour (You know me and family honour) and besides I love the cover. The book is both a memoir and a detective story. <p><a href="http://annesummers.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/clip_image002_003.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-692" title="Mollie Lukis" src="http://annesummers.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/clip_image002_003.jpg" alt="Mollie Lukis" width="160" height="180" /></a>Miss Mollie Lukis, Australia&#8217;s first woman archivist when she was appointed the first State Archivist in Western Australia in 1945, has died at the age of 98. At the time of her appointment, the position was part of the combined Public Library, Art Gallery and Museum and the first Archivist’s role was to oversee the identification, preservation and presentation of the State’s archives.</p>
